Cleaning your space from germs and dust will improve your air quality
Dry air, dust, pet dander and other irritants can all affect the air that you breathe in your home. This can aggravate allergies, trigger asthma or simply create an unhealthy environment. Fortunately, there are plenty of things you can do to improve your air quality. You can start by using the right cleaners, deodorizers and disinfectants throughout your home. Window screens and easily opened windows allow fresh air to come in, and houseplants will add oxygen and help to remove toxins. An air cleaner or air purifier will remove airborne contaminants and circulate clean air back into the room. A portable fan will promote proper air circulation, and a portable humidifier will add moisture to any room. You can also install a furnace humidifier to reduce dry air throughout your home. If your basement is damp, a dehumidifier will remove excess moisture from the air.
